Celebration of  Worship Service

We have designed our worship service reflect a very contemporary feel with a nice blend of traditional hymns and very new modern music.  Often times the service will include opportunities for the children to actively engage in the service (we call it "Hands On Worship". The sermons are preached in a very traditional style but designed to be practical for everyday living.  Our services are lively and upbeat as we enjoy coming together to worship our God.

 Children's Church
We currently have a great opportunity for children to worship each Sunday morning.  The children join the adults for the first half of our service and then head down stairs to the children's worship area with our Children's Director - Michelle Baker.

Our goal is that we will create such an awesome environment for children that they will want to be in church every Sunday.  Our program is formed to emulate our adult worship service but geared for the enthusiastic child.  Parent's are welcome to accompany their child to Children's Church, the only rule is that an adult must have a child with them to attend the Children's Worship Service.  We are sure that both parents and children alike will have an awesome time in Children's Church!

Children's Church is for children ages 5 through 5th grade.

Adventure Club

Our premier children’s ministry is our Adventure Club Friends program which meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-8 PM.  The children meet together in a worship experience for some fun songs, activities, “wacky” skits before heading off to various discovery centers in which the night's lesson is reinforced through games, crafts, and music.  Each Wednesday the children get to choose their discovery center.  The night wraps up with small groups as each child consistently meets with the same group each and every week to share their weeks together, to share their praise together, and to pray together.  This year we are also following a monthly rotation in which the first two Wednesdays of the month are hosted here on campus and follow the above routine, the third Wednesday we take a field trip to put what we are learning into action, and then the last Wednesday we have a celebration or party to celebrate what we have learned and accomplished.

Youth Ministries

When a child enters 6th grade, the world around them begins to change rather rapidly.  It is at this wonderful age that children begin to become young adults.  In our church, they then move up into the youth ministry program.

Our teens are quite active with various events and regular meetings throughout the month.  The focal point of our youth ministry takes place every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00.  Each Wednesday night the teens gather together under adult leadership to have fun games, songs, devotions, Christ-centered discussions, and General store time (to purchase pop, root beer, candy and so on).  The teens meet in their own space in the basement of the house next to the church.  The youth room consists of Nintendo, ping-pong table, Foosball, and Air Hockey.  A recent addition to the teens center is a 1919 Root Beer tap.

The teens also meet every Sunday morning for discipleship between 9:00 and 10:00 AM.  This time is spent in learning more about God’s word and applying it to their everyday lives.

The goal of our youth program is to develop Godly teens who have a Christian Worldview when they graduate from High School.  We hope that as our teens are launched into the world, they will base their adult decisions upon Christian values and concepts.  We also hope to develop in them such a passion for Jesus and for the local church that they will spend their adult lives in active service within a local church congregation.
