We are not alone in the world therefore we can not ignore the needs of our neighbors.  Christ summed up the entire Bible in two statements: First he stated love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, and mind which leads us to do the best we can at discipling the followers of Christ that he has lead to us.  Secondly Christ instructed us to "Love our neighbors as ourselves."  In a world that is filled with hurt and pain this admonition is now important then ever.  The church is called to be a light to our hurting world, to give cups of cold water in Jesus name, to bandage the hurting, to give comfort to the grieving, to give love to the lonely.  We believe that as Christians we are not called to just sit in church but we must be actively engaged in our world by giving ourselves away in personal and cooperate ministry.  Therefore it is our commitment that every believer has a place to grow, a place to worship, and a place to serve.
